Network SpecialistTo undertake a time defined Impact Assessment of potential and identified network impacts across a number of in-flight change initiatives.To be able to produce Solution Designs for the enterprise network to a defined standard for those change initiatives identified from the initial impact assessment that have the most material impact.To work with the associated project teams to ensure that the impacts of these solution designs are clearly understood.To work closely with the SMEs within the organisation perm team through a managed process to ensure that impacts and options are replayed, understood, documented and subject to appropriate levels of approval. This Network engineer will have a background similar to that described below: Skills / Knowledge / Experience:10+ years ‘relevant experience with at least 5+ years in a multi-disciplinary Lead Architect roleRobust technical knowledge of modern network technologiesExperience of technical solution designExperience of leading a multi-disciplinary technical refresh programAn understanding of converging technologies, including virtualisation, automation, cloud, mobility, security, monitoring etc.Consulting or project management experienceSignificant experience of leading architecture and design on a Digital Transformation programmeExperience of working at a strategic level and of leading large, multi-disciplinary teamsA strong, pragmatic approach to leading architecture and development of solutions, with a proven record in strategy planning and delivery.Sets architectural direction, builds consensus, mediates conflicts providing leadership and advisory services to the business. Anticipates needs and potential objections and helps to create an environment which solicits positive contributions from all participants
