Leading partner-led consultancy seeking a qualified Pensions Actuary to join their specialist Risk Transfer team | Birmingham, London, Edinburgh or Glasgow with agile/flexible working.
Within this role you will work with both Trustee Boards and Sponsoring Employers to help settle liabilities and reduce risk. You will include ownership of transactions for a range of client accounts, focusing on the preparation and delivery of advice to clients, whilst building and maintaining relationships with insurers and re-insurers and support the development of our propositions. Work will typically span across longevity swaps, buy-ins and buy-outs.
Role requirements:
* Qualified actuary
* Post qualification experience, working within a pensions consultancy or pricing team within a bulk annuity provider
* Solid understanding of the legislative framework for UK pension schemes
This is an excellent opportunity with a reputable consultancy that has led over £18bn of risk transfer transactions, managed 15 transactions for pension schemes of FTSE 100 sponsors and led the largest buy-in to include deferred members. Over the last couple of years, they have also been appointed lead risk reduction advisor to 80% of the schemes they have tendered for.
