Application Support AnalystLocation: ChesterPermanentWorking Hours: 40-hour week, Mon-Fri (Out of Hours Support Required) Experis IT is currently recruiting for an Application Support Analyst to join our growing client's IT department and support with the growth of their applications team. OverviewThe role of the Application Support Analyst will require the successful candidate to provide efficient IT support across the business and taking responsibility for ticket requests, providing quick resolutions for the users. Any tickets that require escalation will be solved within the application team and will be investigated from the issue through to resolution and provide user training. The client uses state of the art technology and the role will offer broad exposure to multiple IT projects and activities. You will also be responsible for BAU, testing of internal and 3rd party applications and development support. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide application support to staff across the business.Have a customer service approach and deal with issues in a professional manner.Take responsibility for ticket enquiries from initial response through to resolution and escalate and issues that are common occurrence or need a higher level of support.When escalating issues take detailed notes for a thorough handover.Identify and escalate all issues affecting normal operation of the warehouse or customer ordering processes.Participate in meetings across the business.Keeping up to date with latest technologies and applications which could support or benefit the business. Requirements:Experienced in an application support positionStrong troubleshooting/investigative experienceExcellent customer service skillsERP/CRM Support and configurationDMS and WMS system supportSQL Admin and ScriptingExperience with ITIL practisesKnowledge of scripting languages, Microsoft Office Suite, ERP Forms Designer Out of Hours Support:Working out of hours support will offer on-call allowance and extra payment per call taken.
