As a Barclays Oracle Developer within Compliance Technology, you will work on the Transaction Monitoring Programme. This consists of a number of Financial Crime Transaction Monitoring projects, such as Mantas Correspondent Banking, Actimize SAM (Suspicious Activity Monitoring) and Fortent. This programme is a highly visible delivery vehicle supporting the Financial Crime function and is critical as Barclays is embarking on a multi-year transformation journey across the 3 lines of defense.

What you'll be doing?
Interacting with Business and external teams to gather requirements and ensure provision is as required
Performing coding and unit testing for various jurisdictions of the Mantas transaction monitoring platform
Participating in development activities using the Oracle database and Unix shell scripting technologies
Preparing testing strategy and execution plan, perform system testing and assist business users in UAT
Performing data modelling and facilitate data acquisition from upstream applications ensuring data accuracy and completeness
Performing data analysis, data migration activities & write reporting queries
What we're looking for:
Experience in database technologies such as Oracle PL/SQL, SQL server, or similar databases
Linux scripting experience
Java web development skills
Skills that will help you in the role:
Any prior experience working with the MANTAS application
SQL query performance tuning
Experience working with data reporting tools
Understanding of anti-money laundering
