My client, a leading renewable energy company, based in both Manchester and outskirts of Manchester, have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join their vibrant team. The Technical Project Manager will be bought in to oversee work and assignments on their key accounts both internally and externally, particular, being able to identify business processors to enhance current web based/ software applications. The Technical Project Manager will have proven commercial experience working with Software Development teams across the whole development life cycle, in order to be able to liaise between stakeholders and the development team effectively. This role would be perfect for someone that has previous coding experience and has gone into Project Management, but not essential.
As the Technical Project Manager, you will be expected to:
Support with the delivery of campaigns and projectsManaging strategy and creative teams in order to fulfil briefsWork through the end-to-end lifecycle of briefsDelivering various business objectivesEnsuring projects remain on budgetsProactively manage communication between key stake holdersIdentify business processors and ways to implement this into the businessWriting technical briefsKey skills needed to apply for the Technical Project Manager role:
3+ years’ experience managing IT Teams (Software development)Understand various Project Management methodologiesWilling to work in a fast-paced environmentExperience working Agile, planning, Scrum reviews, retrospectives etcExperience working with bespoke, open source technologies would be advantagesThis role has excellent benefits, such as flexi-time, part remote working (3 days home, 2 days on-site), free parking, gym memberships and more.
