Infrastructure Engineer MCP, VCP, CCNA (Investment Banking), MCSE, Active Directory, Exchange 2013, VMWare, VCP, VSphere, VNX, EMC, Recover Point 4, Replication Manager 5, UCS, Cisco, CCNA, Datacentre, Netbackup, CommVault, SCOM, Solarwinds, ITILOur Public Sector client based in London are currently recruiting for an IT Infrastructure Engineer (Citrix focus).This is a requirement for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our Infrastructure team on a contract basis for 6 months. The candidate must have strong IT infrastructure skills and experience and be capable of working independently and as part of a team to set deadlines and deliverables.The resource will be primarily focused on the security based work involved in tightening controls around active directory, file and folder access and Exchange 2013 and standardising the use of Java across the office. Essential Experience:Minimum 6 years experience in an IT Infrastructure Engineer roleStrong Microsoft Windows 2012 skills - MCSE or equivalent requiredStrong Citrix knowledge and experienceStrong Microsoft Active Directory skillsMicrosoft Exchange 2013Excellent IT security skills and understandingExcellent proven VMware design, implementation and configuration skills - VCP requiredvSphere upgrade skills (vSphere 6 knowledge)EMC VNX Knowledge, Recover Point 4, Replication Manager 5, UCSNexus switching (or Catalyst switches)Enterprise backup solution design experienceCisco networking knowledge (CCNA desirable)Excellent datacenter hardware knowledgeEnterprise alerting , monitoring and management (SCOM, Solarwinds or similar)Backup solution design (Netbackup/CommVault)Email archiving solutionsExcellent general all round IT skillsExcellent troubleshooting skillsProven design documentation skillsExperience working within a business critical organisationExcellent time management skillsMust have proven experience working with ITIL focussed organisation (ITIL foundation beneficial)Proven history of working on infrastructure projectsThe candidate will be primarily responsible for:Working on project and business as usual supportQualifications required:Computer Science Degree or equivalent experienceMCIPT or equivalent experienceVCP or equivalent experienceCCNA or equivalent experience
