GCP Cloud EngineerMy client a is dynamic and the role is varied (there is no 'typical day') so you'll get involved in a wide range of activities (more production than POC) but here is what to expect: Identify, scope and participate in the design and delivery of cloud infrastructure modernisation solutions, typically VM migration to GCP or large scale data centre migrations.Design, coordinate and execute pilots, prototypes or proof of concepts, provide validation on specific scenarios and provide deployment guidanceCollaborate and share best practices/insights with engineering colleagues and the architect communityTravel to client sites as appropriate (when restrictions allow) What skills we look forAble to consult with internal and external customers in various technologies around cloud infrastructure components and DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform to name a few.Articulate communication skills to explain complex solutions to external or internal customers in a clear and concise manner, aligned with the ability to adjust style to a varied audience within an organisation.Public Cloud experience with hands on delivery of GCP, AWS or Azure.Project experience in VMware or Data Centre migration to the cloud (Desirable)Related industry certifications - GCP (Desirable)If you're looking for your next role, please feel free to contact me.Telephone: 0203 8087276Email: [email protected]
