450 - 500pd + £85pd PAYE uplift

We feel privileged that over 120 IT professionals have joined this international bank via ourselves over the past several years. We have been asked to assist in the hire of a Linux Systems Administrator to join the EMEA support team within a 24 / 7 rota. This role will be standard hours during week-days, but you will be expected to take part in the on-call rota for week-ends and out of hours.

Unix System internals and kernel tuning

Security hardening principles

Dev/Ops mentatlity

AWX

REST API integration

Shell Scripting

Good working knowledge of Python, Perl and Bash scripting

CI/CD pipelines and other automation concepts

Git

Excellent knowledge of networking, storage, database and virtualization layers.

Replication and disaster recovery.

Security and auditing.

TCP/IP Networking Protocols.

This role may suit an individual who has held the following roles: Linux Systems Administrator, Linux Administrator, Linux Engineer, Linux Consultant, Dev/Ops Engineer, Dev/Ops Consultant.
