West Midlands, North West, Home Based, Data Migration Analyst, Dynamics365, F&O, Dynamics HR, Data Analyst, Data Migration, VBA, SAP, Data Cleaning, Data Mapping,My leading client is looking for a Data Migration Analyst, to join them on an exciting transformational journey that will deliver two strategic projects across HR and Finance and Operations, during which a substantial amount of data must be extracted, transformed and loaded into new systems. The primary responsibility will be to create and implement, based on a data migration strategy, a plan that maximises efficiency and accuracy in the data migration process while minimising risk. Planning, transformation logic and accuracy are pivotal to the role.You will work to cleanse data prior to migration, create and operate a repeatable data transformation process, manage sign-off of migrated data while ensuring data security and accuracy are maintained throughout the project.You will work closely with the Data Architect to complete data migration analysis and assessment including the identification of inconsistencies. You will define mapping rules for each data set for Data Analysts to execute, consulting with the project team to validate requirements as to the use of data and fields identified. Where required, leverage either standard Dynamics 365 F&O Data Management and Excel Add-In data migration tools or MHR iTrent flat file templateWorking experience/Personal attributesPrevious experience of large-scale organisational data migration effortsA solid understanding of data migration principles, methodologies and toolsExperience of data cleansing principles, methodologies and toolsFamiliarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycleProblem solving and root cause identification skillsExperience with SAP migrations a preferable skillProficient in MS Excel to advanced levelProficient in data reconciliationExperience with SQL or other relational databasesStrong analytics reporting expertiseExperienced in VBA / writing MacrosPrior experience of working on 'Dynamics 365' would be an added advantageAble to ensure best practice in data quality management is always adhered to and appliedGood written and oral communication skillsMeticulous and proficient with investigating issues related to financial datasetsUnderstanding of Finance and Accounting If this role is of interest please send me your CV ASAP for review.
