Senior DevOps Engineer / SRE (AWS IaC Terraform Bash Python) Pioneering technology-powered start-up is seeking a tech advocate with strong DevOps / SRE experience to enhance their capabilities as they continue to grow.

The company has created a world-first digital platform, founded upon expertise across app technology, lifestyle, gaming and eCommerce spaces.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer you'll play a key role in a high-performing tech team where you'll be responsible for supporting development and production environments and preparing for launch at scale. You'll take ownership of deploying the code behind features and bug fixes for the core mobile application, working to a CI/CD pipeline and supporting infrastructure, networks, databases and version control.

You'll be responsible for maintaining the infrastructure, building, innovating and improving wherever possible to ensure high-performance, availability and scalability. The infrastructure is built on AWS, and you'll use other modern tools and technologies like Docker, IaC, Terraform, Bash and Python.

The ideal candidate will be a tech advocate, committed to producing high quality technical work. Ideally you'll have some leadership skills, as you'll be providing leadership to a small technical team. 

*Please note: this company is able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process as well as full time work from home during the current social distancing measures. Going forward, you'll join colleagues in London-based offices 1-2 days a week with a good degree of flexibility*

Requirements:

You have a track record of success as a DevOps Engineer / SRE or similar infrastructure related role

You have extensive knowledge of AWS

You have experience and understanding of designing and developing scalable, robust, highly available infrastructure in a live production environment

You have experience with DevOps tools including Terraform, IaC, Docker etc.

You have scripting skills in Bash and ideally Python

You have excellent communication and some leadership skills
