Job Title: Product & Regulation Co-ordinator
Location: Eastleigh, Hampshire or Home based
Salary: £30,867 per annum

The Product and Regulation Coordinator reports to the Head of Qualifications. They are responsible for coordinating the development, regulation, review, and withdrawal of qualification products as well as the managing and monitoring of regulatory requirements relating to qualifications in the UK and overseas ensuring compliance of products. They will lead the product team and coordinate with the Qualification Leads to ensure timely development of qualifications and products to a high standard that are compliant to regulator conditions and principles.

Principal Responsibilities include:
* Coordinate the delivery of qualification products through work on specific non-technical components from qualification design, production, & regulations
* Coordinate the production of products to ensure effective & efficient product development whilst ensuring they are compliant to policies, procedures & regulatory conditions/principles
* Coordinate qualification related projects when needed
* Maintain a comprehensive audit trail in relation to all qualification development & regulation
* Coordinate high stakes regulatory activity & provide evidence to ensure the audit trail is maintained & followed
* Undertake research & external consultation to inform & continuously improve qualification products
* Undertake research of new frameworks & coordinate the implementation of new frameworks
* Liaise with Processing Manager to ensure certificate templates meet regulatory requirements ensuring correct templates & logos are used for each qualification
* Be responsible for the formatting, proof reading & high quality, timely final publication (both online & hardcopy) of qualification products by liaising with print management partners & internal departments as well as ensuring regulatory requirements are met
* Work collaboratively with Marketing to deliver objectives relating to qualification product development
* Lead on submission, extension & review of qualifications on regulatory systems
* Coordinate the reviewing & withdrawal of qualifications, analysing & interpreting qualification, registration & certification data to support the Qualification Leads to evaluate qualification performance
* Monitor qualifications performance through monitoring of queries, informing the Qualification Lead to ensure that appropriate preparatory, follow-up & remedial work is carried out as required
* Coordinate the maintenance, extension & expiry of existing qualifications within the portfolio
* Ensure Regulation Officer enters new qualifications onto the appropriate regulator register
* Liaise with & support Qualification Leads to collate correct information for products & organise reviews
* Liaise with Assessment & Awarding Coordinator to share & ensure the correct information for qualification assessment requirements
* Provide support to Qualification Leads & manage technical unit writer contracts, work schedules & coordinating payment
* Organise & contribute to writer training including ongoing guidance & support

The successful candidate will:
* Be educated to Degree level & GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in Maths & English or Level 2 Key Skills/functional skills/literacy/numeracy
* Have working knowledge of regulations & qualification development in awarding environment
* Have working knowledge of UK regulators & frameworks
* Have experience of working in regulatory environment
* Have experience of managing complex & conflicting administrative projects
* Have experience of manging people
* Have experience of maintaining audit trails
* Be able to create innovative solutions to unique problems
* Have proficient IT skills in Microsoft Office
* Be competent in the use of Adobe InDesign or similar design package
* Have excellent communication skills, including diplomacy & negotiation skills
* Excellent eye for detail and writing & proof reading skills
* Be able to lead others & develop a team
* Be able to work to deadlines under pressure
* Have time management & organisational skills
