This Company is a well-respected provider of Energy Consultancy and Compliance Services to a wide range of construction professionals on both a national and localised level.

Based in Nottingham, they currently have an excellent development opportunity for a Trainee SAP / On Construction Energy Assessor (OCDEA) to complement their professional, driven and dedicated team. In the early stages the role will involve supporting their existing Energy Assessors in completing various calculations and reports for Building Control applications across a range of small to medium scale developments. This will provide important experience which will complement subsequent planned training.

Following the successful completion of this initial probationary period, the Company will then fully fund and support the successful applicant's formal training and qualification as an On Construction Energy Assessor. This will result in either a City & Guilds or ABBE Level 3 Diploma which will permit the appointed individual to become accredited as a practising Energy Assessor.

This fantastic opportunity would be well suited to an individual who has previously studied a construction or built environment related course or alternatively to someone who has direct experience of working within this sector. They are however open to applications from candidates who can demonstrate an interest within this area coupled with a strong willingness to learn.

They pride themselves on offering their clients the highest level of service and therefore applicants should be educated to at least an A-level / HND standard with an emphasis on technical and mathematical related subjects. Since written and verbal communication is a vital part of the role, it will also be important for candidates to demonstrate a strong command of English.
