ION Consultants - circa £700p/d + uplift

The client is a global banking group, with their EMEA HQ based in London. We have assisted in the placement of over 100 IT professionals at this client and receive consistent positive feedback from successful candidates.

There are two available positions; one for an ION Business Analyst and one for a technical ION Consultant. You will be joining the E-Trading team to assist in supporting trading, sales and risk departments across all asset classes.

As an ION Business Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering solutions to the Rates and Credit business. The successful candidate will have extensive BA experience working within financial institutions primarily within the Fixed Income space with traders using ION Suite of applications. You will be familiar with eTrading technology and front office trading systems, Pricing and Risk Management, Operations and TRACE reporting.

The technical ION Consultant will be responsible for setting up new ION Gateways, maintaining the ION platform, and providing L1-L3 support. The successful technical ION Consultant will have experience with the following:

*ION Trading Platform - MMI, Sysadmin and D2D/D2C components

*Supporting trading platforms such as: Bloomberg, BrokerTec, Markitwire, etc.

*FIX Protocol

*Java (desired), or Shell Scripting / Python / Perl

*Linux environment

Initially it will be possible to work from home, however, there might be a need to come into the office in the coming months.

Daily Rate: circa £700 p/d + uplift
