Customs and Logistics ManagerNetherlands The European Customs and Logistics Manager will join a growing team of professionals who are located in the Netherlands office. This role will be contributing to all areas of Indirect European Customs Tax. The ideal candidate enjoys working collaboratively in a collegial team environment within a fast-paced growing company.
The company require a qualified logistics professional with internationally based deep understanding of the European Tax ecosystem.
The company pioneered streaming to the TV, their models are available around the world through direct retail sales and licensing arrangements with TV brands and pay TV operators. Duties include:
Tracking of inventory flow for VAT reportingResponsible for monthly VAT reporting in the NetherlandsFile the VAT reporting paperwork with the appropriate government office in the NetherlandsAssist Logistics with in-country physical inventory audits and inventory data entry for EU shipments both cosigned and ownedResponsible for inventory management to ensure no inventory aged over 1 yearLiaison with assigned Freight Forwarder: VAT and customs clearance process for shipments to all European offices UK, Netherlands, Denmark, GermanyAssist with the management of custom and corporate compliance across EuropeManage reporting for UK in post-Brexit worldControls all customs documents and completes fiscal filingsOversee entry auditing and reporting results and recommendations for improvementCoordinate, with the Logistics Department, break bulk shipments between multiple EU countriesCommercial invoice management for importsPartner with HQ to coordinate the indirect aspects of new countryCollaborate with European project teamsInbound tracking from Asian to Europe distributorsFacilitate rework and resolving of products at distributorsLogistics invoice tracking and reconciliation from DistributorsExperience/Requirements:
Customs and Duties for multinational company importing to multiple countries in Europe5 years logistics experience in global environmentExperience managing auditsAdvanced computer and Excel experienceAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectivelySelf-motivated and energetic attitude with a strong work ethicStrong project management and organisational skillsAdditional (Preferred Qualifications:
