Embedded C Developer / Software Engineer (RTOS TestRail JIRA) Exceptional opportunity has opened at a pioneering technology company for a skilled Embedded C Developer to join them in an exciting role that encompasses autonomy, ownership and progression.

As an Embedded C Developer you'll play a key role in a close-knit engineering team, where you'll take ownership of designing, developing, testing and implementing real-time software (in Embedded C) for a variety of target devices, working across the full project lifecycle, from initial feasibility studies, bench tests, requirements gathering, design through to release and support.

You'll help to ensure the cutting-edge core products are robust, easy to use, cost-effective and optimising the capacity of the systems. You'll work with JIRA and TestRail to source control software to self-manage development tasks, and will work in a highly collaborative wider team, championing best practice and a culture of continuous technical improvement.

Requirements:

You're degree educated (2.1 or above) in Computer Science, Maths, Engineering or related subject (or have equivalent experience)

You're an expert in Embedded C and have experience of developing code for real-time applications/ operating systems

You have strong technical proficiency in software tools and technology including JIRA, TestRail and source control software

You have experience of using USB, Ethernet and other synchronous and asynchronous communication protocols

You're a proactive team player with excellent communication skills
