DevOps Engineer / SRE (AWS IaC Terraform Bash Python) Are you an accomplished DevOps Engineer, looking for an opportunity to make an impact on an exciting company as it grows?

They are seeking a tech-driven individual with a broad remit of DevOps experience to join their high-performing tech team, and play an integral role in supporting development and production environments and preparing for launch at scale.

As a DevOps Engineer you'll take ownership of deploying the code behind features and bug fixes for the core mobile application, working to a CI/CD pipeline and supporting infrastructure, networks, databases and version control.

You'll be responsible for maintaining the infrastructure, building, innovating and improving wherever possible to ensure high-performance, availability and scalability. The infrastructure is built on AWS, and you'll use other modern tools and technologies like Docker, IaC, Terraform, Bash and Python.

The ideal candidate will be a tech advocate, committed to producing high quality technical work. Ideally you'll have some leadership skills, as you'll be providing leadership to a small technical team.  

*Please note: this company is able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process as well as full time work from home during the current social distancing measures. Going forward, you'll join colleagues in London-based offices 1-2 days a week with a good degree of flexibility*

Requirements:

You have a track record of success as a DevOps Engineer / SRE or similar infrastructure related role

You have extensive knowledge of AWS

You have experience and understanding of designing and developing scalable, robust, highly available infrastructure in a live production environment

You have experience with DevOps tools including Terraform, IaC, Docker etc.

You have scripting skills in Bash and ideally Python

You have excellent communication and some leadership skills
