Systems EngineerCheltenham12 monthsUp to £42 per hour via Umbrella An experienced Systems Engineer is required on an interim basis to provide systems support to several key activities . There will be some involvement in executing systems testing on the System rigs as part of verification and debugging activities. They will also be other adhoc tasks as and when required coving the whole lifecycle of the project. Reporting to the systems team leader the suitable candidates will be expected to be pro-active, able to work on their own and with minimal supervision. Equally they must also be team players and able to able to co-operate with other disciplines within the wider team. To be considered, successful candidates must have experience in the following: Engineer with experience on the Systems Development Lifecycle (ARP474A) and in the following:Preparation of the technical specifications and interfaces for Electrical Power Distribution System, including review and evaluation of legacy artefactsProvide technical Support in hardware and software integration for the Electrical Power Distribution SystemPreparation and review of Systems & Electrical System test plan and procedures, including review and evaluation of legacy test artefactsSupport in design reviews collaborating with other stakeholders (Certification, Safety, Quality) to realise project committmentsRequirements development, review and management using DOORSDefining verification strategies and authoring verification proceduresWill support remaining team members and performing oversight/coordination of working with 3rd party suppliersDegree in Engineering/TechnologyTeam working essentialKnowledge of scripting languages (e.g. DXL) an advantage.
