In this role you'll play a critical part in our cloud migration journey as we strategically land our digital programmes of work.

Supporting the manager in a team of Software Development Engineers, you'll design and develop cloud-based data engineering solutions to support key path finder projects as part of AWS cloud migration.

What you'll be doing

Supporting management as a senior member of the team

Developing, deploying, testing, and debugging cloud-native application, API Based product and services using AWS services APIs and Big Data platform

Building Banks Data integration hub and enterprise streaming platform, and Serverless data lake and transformation application and services

Delivering real-time serverless Applications and Data pipeline built on AWS technologies

Collaborating with tech teams to implement advanced analytics algorithms that exploit our rich datasets for statistical analysis, prediction, clustering, and machine learning

What we're looking for

Experience as a leader within a large team

Previous Agile best practices , fast paced development and DevSecOps experience

Previous experience with data-driven architecture, design and implementation of micro-services architecture and event-driven architecture

Ability to communicate insights and understanding of issues in a way that co-workers can understand

Is trusted by others to independently analyse problems and propose solutions

On the technical side, we're looking for

Ability to use the AWS service API'S, AWS CLL and SDKs to write applications

Strong Cloud-Native Big Data Software Engineering experience (AWS, SDK, CDK, laC)

Experience with full stack big data developing (Java, Spring, Scala, Python, Spark, Hadoop, Cloud native Databases) and ability to use or intract AWS services

Excellent experience with developing and deploying CI/CD pipeline, IaC on AWS Platform
