About the Role:

Reporting into the Head of Business Systems, the role is centred around developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 to include the various stages of the sales process, integrating with other business systems and 3rd party applications where required. 

This role is perfectly suited to an established Dynamics developer who is looking to progress their career, working with staff across the organisation to understand business processes and customise Dynamics 365 to enhance and automate those processes.

 Integration is required with our other key business systems from quotation through to service and billing. 

A key project to gather requirements, streamline process and consolidate systems is underway, so the successful candidate will need to establish themselves quickly.

Main Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:- 

To understand and document business processes

Create comprehensive requirements documents based on first-hand analysis

Design fit for purpose solutions to meet business requirements

Present documented solutions for approval

Implement approved solutions

Manage data transformation and synchronisation between platforms

Integrate CRM with other business systems such as service desk, finance and billing

Create custom code where required to achieve integration

Integrate CRM with other third-party applications such as marketing tools Testing - creation of test plans and working with users to ensure adequate testing at each stage

What we'd like from you:

At least 2 years experience in a similar position, developing Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions

Attained a relevant Microsoft Dynamics accreditation (MCSA / MCSE equivalent)

Experience of working to SCRUM / agile methodologies

Experience working with the Microsoft Power Platform

Experience using Power Automate (previously called Flow)

Understanding one or more of the following architectures: Common Data Service, Model Driven Apps, Canvas Apps, CE Solution Deployment, CE Security Structure

Excellent documentation skills

Good time and project management skills - ability to deliver work packages to agreed specifications and on time is critical

Ability to identify and pick up new processes and software platforms quickly

Ability to work flexibly to deliver solutions to tight timescales

An independent, self-starter capable of managing their own workload.

Must be excellent at communicating and working across teams at all levels within and outside the business. 

Must possess the ability to learn new technologies at a fast rate and be willing to push the boundaries of their knowledge.

Strict adherence to company policy, process, and procedures.

Highly Desirable:-

Experience with Dynamics Marketing, TIBCO Scribe Insight / SQL Integration Services (SSIS), Dynamics Connector, PowerBI, ServiceNow

Some prior engagement with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and/or NAV/Business Central 

Experience of SharePoint and Office development highly desirable

Understanding how to code in JavaScript is advantageous
