Python Developer London / WfH to £100k
Python Developer / Backend Software Engineer (QuantLib FINCAD) *Remote Interview WfH*. FinTech solutions provider is seeking a data savvy Python Developer with a good knowledge of quant finance; this is an opportunity to progress your career working on complex systems.
As a Python Developer you will design and develop Quantitative trading systems including prototyping, designing and developing calculation components, new optimisation processes and analytics as well as maintaining and improving existing systems. You'll be able to work across the full portfolio of projects and will get to see your work go rapidly from ideation to release, allowing you to make a real difference and advance your career in a supportive, intellectual environment with significant bonus earning potential.
Driven by technology this company is able to offer a remote interview / onboarding process and work from home during the current social distancing measures, with 2-3 days WFH p/week going forward (tentative plans to return to the City office pending government advice.
Requirements:
Degree educated, 2.1 or above from a top tier university in a numerate discipline
Strong Python coding skills including SQLAlchemy, Flask, SciPy, NumPy, Jinga2
Experience of developing Quantitative systems with tools such as FINCAD, ORE, QuantLib
Understanding of a range of financial derivative instruments
Experience working with risk, pricing and valuation libraries / systems
Experience with at least some of the following: MySQL, RabbitMQ, Docker, Linux, AWS, Gitlab, Elastic stack, JIRA, Confluence
Analytical mindset with strong problem solving abilities
Collaborative with good communication skills
