Manchester OR Remote with occasional office visits

Our client is a company that develops a platform for the recruitment industry to display jobs from global organisations to a wide audience or recruitment organisations throughout the UK & Europe.

The organisation is now looking to recruit a Ruby On Rails developer to join their development team which is based in Manchester, although remote working is available with occasional office visits when office working is permitted.

You must be experienced with Ruby On Rails.

Key technical requirements for this role are: You're a web development practitioner with commercial experience of modern web frameworks. Ruby On Rails knowledge is essential for this role.Good working knowledge of APIs and consuming external data sources (Graphiti, GraphQL, or RESTful APIs)Good working knowledge of databases including MySQL with demonstrable ability to write complex queries and to make optimisationsAbility to identify, debug and resolve production issuesGood knowledge of frontend tooling and frameworks (React, Redux, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap)Good testing background This position pays a salary up to £45,000. The role is based from great offices in Manchester OR remote work with occasional visits to the office.
