Data Specialist - UK Wide

We are recruiting a Data Specialist to help deliver Data Migration and Informatics projects. The role is home based but will require frequent travel primarily to London, the Midlands and the South, however the applicant should allow for UK wide travel.

Essential Experience

Working knowledge of the Microsoft BI Stack (SQL, SSIS, SSRS)

Strong experience with T-SQL and query tuning

Demonstrable knowledge of extracting or loading data from healthcare systems, preferably from one or more of the following systems:

Cerner Millennium

DXC Lorenzo

Epic

SystemC CareFlow (Medway)

Excellent understanding of acute NHS datasets

Desirable Experience

Data Migration

Data Quality

Data Visualisation and Self-Service Reporting using Power BI, QlikView or Tableau

Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence, including ETL, Data Modelling, Report and Dashboard Development

SSAS

C# / .NET

Interfaces, including HL7 messaging

Clinical, community, mental health and primary care NHS datasets

Private healthcare datasets
