Technical Sales Engineer

This company specialise in the design and manufacture of machinery that is supplied into a wide variety of industries such as food manufacturing, mining, plastics and pharmaceutical and recycling to name but a few. They are part of a larger multi-national organisation and are experiencing a period of growth.

In this role, you will be based from South Wales but will spend 2 or 3 days a week traveling throughout the UK to visit customers. The successful Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying suitable business opportunities and presenting technical solutions to customers problems. Taking a consultative approach to sales you will visit clients facilities to assess their requirements then use your expertise to advise on the best solutions. You will be provided with technical training to get a full understanding of the product range.

The Role:

*Identifying new business opportunities to generate leads

*Regular meetings throughout the UK and Ireland to visit customer sites

*Provide technical advice on the best solutions

The Person:

*Technical or Engineering degree qualified

*Background in a manufacturing environment would be ideal

*Any customer facing or sales experience is beneficial
