Java Developer in Test London to £70k

Java Developer in Test / Software Tester (Java RESTful API BDD) *Remote interview WfH*. Are you a Java technologist who believes in the importance of testing throughout the development lifecycle?

You could be progressing your career at a fast growing FinTech that is helping to revolutionise consumer banking through the use of advanced data centric, cloud based technology.

As a QA Test Engineer you'll join an Agile software development team responsible for the card payments processing side of the business. You'll be an integral part of the development process, evangelising TDD / BDD and collaborating with software engineers across the software development lifecycle. The tech stack is based on Java microservices architecture using Kafka to process real-time data.

There's a fully remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home fulltime for the foreseeable; when possible you'll join colleagues in the London office for 1-2 days a week.

Requirements:

You have Java coding skills and experience of creating test automation frameworks from scratch

You have a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile development processes including TDD / BDD (they're currently using Cucumber)

You have a good understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs (they're using RESTAssured and Wiremock)

You have strong analysis and problem solving with meticulous attention to detail

You're collaborative with great communication skills
