Python Developer London to £120k

Python Developer / Engineer (Linux DevOps CI/CD). Are you a highly technical backend Python Developer with a good knowledge of Linux and DevOps tooling?

You could be taking ownership and making an impact whilst remaining hands-on at a technology driven prop trading company. You'll be rewarded for your contribution with significant bonuses and be based in amazing City offices with roof terrace, breakout areas, free food and casual dress code.

As a Python Developer you work on a diverse range of projects that underpin the entire technology platform. You'll be developing automated release and configuration management tools for a build pipeline for in-house developed C++, C# and Python software; developing tools for process scheduling, calendar services and monitoring; building trade flow connectivity workflows and event management systems and pro-actively seeking improvements to the trading infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • You have strong backend Python development experience
  • You have a good knowledge of Linux OS
  • You're an advocate of automation with experience of working in DevOps environments and understand how to optimise 3rd party tools such as Ansible, Octopus, TeamCity, Volt, JIRA
  • You have experience of integrating development and operational processes that add value
  • You're collaborative with great communication skills, keen to work in small team environment where you can see the results of your quickly and make an impact
  • Degree educated, 2.1 or above - Computer Science preferred
