Support Developer

We are searching for a Support Developer to join our client's development team - you will be involved in creating and supporting a variety of in-house solutions for an exciting and very successful business.

You will assist in delivering project components and change requests to agreed timescales, quality and scope. You will also assist in the preparation and execution of user and system test plans.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting existing and future in-house developments
• Gathering and documenting user requirements
• Responding to issues/faults and delivering end user requests
• Working as part of a team in order to deliver complex development projects

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong customer service approach to support, development and requirements gathering
• Understanding and working knowledge of web-based development processes
• Ability to adapt to the needs of the business and learn new technologies quickly
• Ability to troubleshoot logically in multiple programming languages and platforms
• Able to communicate to all levels of the business
• Ability to gather and interpret project requirements
• Experience of documenting development & code
• Fast learner with a keen eye for detail

The ideal candidate for this role will have some commercial experience in a mixture of the following;

• ASP.NET
• C#
• HTML
• CSS
• JavaScript
• T-SQL/TSQL
• SQL Database Administrative
• PL/SQL
• MySQL

Desirable Skills (non-essential);

• Development of Windows based Tablets & Mobiles (WPF)
• BizTalk 2010
• Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Principles of RDBMS & Normalisation
• jQuery
• Angular JS
