Backend Web Developer / Junior Software Engineer (Ruby API Backend) *Remote Interview WfH*. Would you like to progress your career at a well funded "tech for good" start-up, creating technology that empowers people to take ownership of pro-actively managing their health?

As a Backend Web Developer you'll join a small multi-disciplinary team where everyone has their voice heard, contributing to evolving product development. You'll be working with complex and secure data centric systems with challenges around scalability and robustness with a focus on Ruby backend development with exposure to the full stack including APIs and JavaScript / Vue.js.

There is a fully remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home; in time you'll join colleagues in the London (City) offices for two days a week with the rest of the week working from home if desired.

Requirements:

• You have commercial Ruby backend development experience
• You have a good understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as Object Orientated Programming, API design and good database structure
• You're a collaborative communicator who enjoys technical challenges and problem solving, with the aptitude and desire to learn
• You're degree educated, Computer Science preferred
• Any experience with AWS and APIs would be a bonus
