On offer is the chance to work in conjunction with some of the world's biggest automotive firms. The opportunity to oversee a department from the outset and progress with the technology the company is leading in the UK. Work closely with the customers and oversee installations, preventive maintenance and service activities. Hands-on requirements: system installing, commissioning, fault-finding, application testing and customer training.Be recognised as a specialist applications engineer with the ability to readily problem solve in practical situations with a variety of power electronics and interact with customers directly.

Once global travel resumes, an estimated 10% - 20% of time would be spent at customer sites overseas, predominantly Malaysia and China. Travel is expensed and some weekend travel will be necessary due to the customer location. The Role: * Service Manager ( Power Electronics) * Fault finding and testing products * Troubleshooting power electronics with clients * Client visits and liaison The Candidate: *Service Manager ( Power Electronics) * Recognisable background in power electronics (Design / Projects etc) * Masters degree minimum in electronics engineering * Fault finding & Sales nuances *An understanding of power semiconductor fundamentals would be advantageous *Experience with Linux Operating System would be advantageous
