Planning Manager

Gloucester, Gloucestershire

Office based and Site visits (flexible working)

£30,000-40,000 + Development + Pension + Holiday

Do you have experience in planning, development or management in the public sector or private sector, or have experience in renewable energy projects?

Are you a strategic thinker who is passionate about making a significant difference in driving renewable energy projects forward in the UK.

This company invests into renewable energy developers and projects, including solar, wind, energy storage, waste to energy and energy efficiency. They ultimately act as a platform which enables these projects reach their full life cycle.

In this role you will utilise your planning, development and management skills to build new utility-scale solar and battery storage projects in the UK. You will manage the development of the projects, provide solutions to planning situations, work with the wider development team and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience in planning and development of projects, have strong communication skills, wanting to take on a autonomous role within the renewable industry.

The role:

*Flexible working and Site Visits (2/3 days a week in the Gloucester office)

*Developing new projects

*Managing projects through development process

*Providing solutions to planning situations

*Communicating with internal and external stakeholders

*Working with the wider Development and Investment Teams.

The Person

*Computer competent

*Strong communication skills and a strategic thinker

*Planning and development of projects experience

*Relevant experience in public, private or renewable energy sector.

*Town/Urban planning background/degree

*UK driving License (to travel to sites).
