Development lead C# Web Java - (React) Real Time Trading FX Investment Bank At least 8 years software development experience ideally with a recent focus on delivering web based applications Solid experience with Server Side C# and WPF Experience designing and implementing RESTful web services using Java, .NET Framework/Core (C#), Nice to have React Team lead experience Experience integrating with, selecting, and designing data stores using both SQL and NoSQL technologies - MS SQL, Oracle, MongoDB or Redis. Python or NodeJS Understanding of performance implications when making design decisions to deliver performant and maintainable software. Solid experience with multithreaded architectures and optimised UI's Understanding of application security requirements. Familiarity with writing and validating Unit and Integration tests using standard testing frameworks. Ability and willingness to learn quickly and adapt to a fast changing environment, with a strong interest in continuous improvement and delivery, identifying and suggesting areas for improvement. Excellent knowledge of programming best practices, design patterns etc. Knowledge in global markets, products, assets, flowsDesirable Requirements Experience with common .NET patterns and libraries (ie MVVM, Rx, NUnit) Experience of React, Angular, Typescript, vanilla JavaScript, ES6+, CSS, HTML and DOM Experience with desktop based deployments of web based UIs using platforms like Chromium/CEF, OpenFin, Electron or NWJS. Front Office development experience in FX Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines, exposure to TeamCity, Jenkins/Ansible. Financial markets knowledge We are now seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Developer with proven experience in Real Time application development across the full stack. The candidate should have excellent skills in system architecture/design, development of Back End services, APIs and GUI's as well as ideally a good knowledge of the FX business. Key Responsibilities Participate in an agile based software development life cycle including technical analysis, documentation, development, testing and code reviews. Fully participate in requirement and design meetings for new functionality. Work closely with other developers in determining and following best development and architecture practice. Play an active role in the definition of the architecture and design within the team Work closely with business users and UX designers to refine application requirements and interfaces. Mentor less experienced developers through pair programming and code review.
