JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title:O365 Teams Engineers PAYE or limited company ( Mandatory ) PAYE-Inside IR35 Location:London Job Purpose and primary objectives: The End User Technology team is committed to delivering enterprise class end user productivity solutions and is responsible for all aspects of the design, configuration, integration, and migration to these technologies into the firm. The Messaging and Conferencing squad seeks an infrastructure developer to enhance, integrate, and deploy Desktop and Mobile solutions for chat, desktop sharing, telephony, and video conferencing software focusing around Microsoft Teams. The candidate should have solid Windows infrastructure engineering experience and knowledge in PowerShell. On top of that, experience or at least passion on implementing messaging and conferencing solutions in enterprise environment with DevOps and Automation in mind is required. As the solution will have a major part in the cloud, experience in engineering components interacting with the cloud would be helpful. Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team): ? Software development and maintenance of scripts (powershell, Perl, python) ? Writing and improving documentation on wikis and other information repositories. ability to describe with technical accuracy and clarity operational procedures, system designs and requirements ? Ability to interface with vendors and other stakeholder groups to drive improvements ? Design and implementation of communications technology infrastructure ? Successful navigation of security reviews ? Ability to convey procedures for operational support of the system, provide training to other groups to share expertise ? Collaborate with peer O365 technology teams to evolve existing architectures and drive ongoing enhancements to security controls to address changing security landscape and thematic risks Key Skills/Knowledge: ? 5+ years’ experience of Office365 (supporting and engineering). ? Deploying and administering communications and/or messaging technologies (video/phone/email or chat) in an enterprise environment ? Fundamental understanding of networking concepts. Experience with wireshark and network infrastructure tools (firewalls, proxies, load balancers) ? Prior experience with Windows or Linux System administration - configuration management, entitlement management, software installation ? Demonstrated ability to deploy, operate, upgrade and transition between communications application ? Ability and desire to learn new technologies quickly and operate in a face paced environment Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and other solutions such as Zoom or related technologies such as Slack/Symphony/Webex Duration of the Assignment:6 months
