A positive place to work, they aim to implement the motto 'See a Difference' for clients, and in everything they do.They're currently seeking a senior-level Consultant, able to both win and deliver sustainability and compliance-related projects with positive impact to an excellent level, to work within the Environment Group. Although the majority of staff are home-working at this time due to Covid-19, the ability and willingness to travel is a requirement of this role.The role:This advertisement is an open call to the marketplace for a Senior Environmental Consultant to support key clients and to further develop the service area. Typical technical project areas are environmental management, quality management, health and safety management, energy management, information security management and business continuity. Workstreams may cover a range of sustainability-related projects, including sustainability strategy, carbon and Life Cycle Assessment, resource efficiency, waste, F-gases, materials replacement, circular economy, sustainable procurement and net zero delivery.The successful candidate will work in a client-facing role with lead responsibilities for excellent project delivery, valued outcomes and great customer service. Clients range from industrial manufacturing sites to public sector and commercial businesses; projects range from strategic to operational and technical interventions.Core technical project areas include:Management systems development and implementation (e.g. ISO 14001, 9001, 45001, 50001, 22301, 27001)Audit, consulting and training deliveryAdditional technical project areas may include:Net zero strategy development/ deliveryCircular economy and resource efficiency.Environmental legal complianceLean manufacturing and reducing waste in processesSustainable procurementChemical and waste managementLife cycle analysis (LCA)The position may require travel (including occasional overnight stays) throughout Scotland, the U.K. and abroad depending on project requirements.
