IT Support & Service Delivery Manager / IS Technical Expert with significant experience of working within an IT support and delivery environment, strong documentation and knowledge sharing skills and proven experience in a technical service environment with positively delivered outcomes is required by a Charity based in Reading, Berkshire.
Candidates must have:
Microsoft Modern Workplace experience
Advanced Windows 10 support and deployment experience
Microsoft Intune deployment
Management of Windows 10, Android and iOS including application packaging
Office 365 skills, email, SharePoint
SALARY: £34,688 - £36,729 per annum

JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an IT Support & Service Delivery Manager / IS Technical Expert with significant experience of working within an IT support and delivery environment, strong documentation and knowledge sharing skills and proven experience in a technical service environment with positively delivered outcomes.
Working as the IT Support & Service Delivery Manager / IS Technical Expert you will lead project work and improvements in BAU activity in the IS Team. You will identify possible improvements and coordinate cross-directorate implementation of new initiatives which will support the delivery of organisational strategy and keep a future focus on the Charity's technological capabilities.
As the IT Support & Service Delivery Manager / IS Technical Expert you will be skilled in producing technical documentation and will have the ability to explain complex technical subjects to non-technical people.

DUTIES
Your duties and responsibilities as the IT Support & Service Delivery Manager / IS Technical Expert will include:
Work with IT services across the organisation, advising the Head of IS Operations with implementation of business plans, projects, technical implementation and improvements for a modern workplace
Be responsible for the continued assessment and implementation of the IT technology, solutions, devices, policies and processes
Identify trends and potential risks with the technology and user IS capability, analyse and troubleshoot problem trends, identify and implementing technical solutions and improvements to user IS capability/self-sufficiency
Advise and work in collaboration with IS management and other departments on the continuous improvement of the existing environment and the implementation of solutions for a modern workplace
Test, design and implement technical changes for IS Service Delivery and wherever possible implement automated solutions
Lead projects and strategic direction, manage workstreams assigned to IS Service Delivery
Contribute to IT department policies, standards and strategic direction
Lead/contribute to the procurement of I.T. user equipment identifying problems, analysing requirements, evaluating options
Identify and implement IS process and procedure improvements
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Essential
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience
IT Related certifications: ICT, MCSA, MCP, CompTIA or relevant experience
Significant experience of working within an IT support and delivery environment
Proven and demonstrable experience gained in technical service environment with positively delivered outcomes
Implementing industry best practice methodologies / frameworks e.g. ITIL certification
Significant experience of the Microsoft modern workplace technology stack and associated licencing
Good working knowledge of ITIL and ISO standards relevant to IT service delivery
Required to maintain own knowledge of relevant Microsoft technological advances
Skilled in producing technical documentation
Ability to explain complex technical subjects to non-technical people
In-depth experience with the core Microsoft technology stack including: Azure Active Directory, MFA, SSO, GPO, DHCP, SCCM
In-depth experience with the Microsoft Modern Workplace technology stack including: Office 365, Enterprise Mobility and Security, Intune, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint
In-depth Windows 10 experience including deployment and modern management through Intune including application packaging
In-depth knowledge of PowerShell and scripting technologies
VPN and edge connectivity supporting remote working
WiFi and LAN technologies i.e. Meraki, Cisco switching and access points
Desirable
MCP/MCSE
Exposure to Azure IaaS, SaaS and PaaS
Office 365 productivity tools such as Power Apps, Flow etc.
Citrix VA and Desktops
Apple iOS and Android
Microsoft BitLocker Administration and Monitoring (MBAM)
Automated AD Management tools such as ADManager Plus
