Android Developer

Exciting education tech start-up with significant funding and successful products already on the market is now planning substantial growth!

They are 3 yrs old and London-based with a highly impressive list of partners and customers, very strong sales and also won a number of awards in 2020

Are part of this growth, they are looking to hire an experienced Android Developer to join their mobile app team. The apps form an integral part of their products, so it is a key hire.

Key skills/experience required:

• Native Android development experience, using Kotlin
• History of commercial apps released to app stores
• Understanding of Android app development design patterns and native Android APIs
• Understanding of MVVM, MVP , MVI etc.
• Unit testing
• CI/CD
• Good knowledge of security best practices
• Experience of AWS and cloud services would be useful, but not essential
• Experience with wireless connectivity (RFID/NFC, Bluetooth/BLE, WiFi, MQTT) would be useful, but not essential

Experience of working in small dynamic teams/organisations is important, as is being able to work autonomously, good communication skills and flexibility.

The role is 100% remote, and they have always had a flexible working structure.  Once things are back to normal, they do have an office in central London, for those that prefer working onsite.
