Senior Data Analyst

Senior Data Analyst who has Data Science, GIS Analytics, SQL Server and R or Python experience is required for a well-established company based in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, East Midlands.

Candidates must have the following:

• Experience of working in CPG/FMCG
• Knowledge of SQL server
• Experience with predictive modelling
• Understanding of statistics
• Data science experience especially with R or Python
• GIS analytics
• Machine Learning and AI
• Experience with Power BI, Alteryx etc would be beneficial

JOB OVERVIEW

Due to the expansion of the existing team, we have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst who has Data Science, GIS Analytics, SQL Server, R or Python experience.

As the Senior Data Analyst, you will build and deliver regular and ad-hoc data insight presentations and reports to clients and senior internal stakeholders, capturing client requirements and customising existing solutions to meet these.

Working as the Senior Data Analyst you will ensure data validity and completeness.  Extracting data from the Company's existing SQL Server backend systems, you will be expected to retrieve and manipulate large volumes of data to build and deliver analysis including but not limited to:

• ROI of Field Sales Forces
• Promotional Uplift
• Opportunities related to store level compliance to retailer agreements
• Combining external data sources with our existing databases

You will Use MS SQL, Alteryx, Excel and other tools to create models and tools for internal and external client use.
