Location: Perth 2-3 days per week (Currently remote due to restrictions)

Effectively harnessing Data and Analytics will become an essential strategic capability enabling us to continue to operate and compete effectively in its markets and business segments.Key AccountabilitiesWorks with business system colleagues to clarify requirements, to plan implementation and to answer queries through the development processMarshals and documents requirements for the subsequent identification of an appropriate solution and the detailed design of a business process to accommodate itUndertakes business analysis projects and tasks under the leadership of a more experienced analyst or project managerPlans, prioritises, manages and executes analysis work on multiple simple or individual complex projects in order to regularly achieve cost and timescale targetsWorks with the business to understand and prioritise conflicting needsContributes to the execution of user system testing and to the test plan for large projectsUndertakes personal responsibility for IT data security by ensuring that rules and practices are identifiedIdentifies and determines end-to-end business processes using standard methodsPresents business and technical concepts to process owners and business usersIdentifies and assesses business and IT riskPrepares succinct reports and communications that are tailored to different situations and audiencesCarries out in depth scoping exercises during the early stages of a work package to identify key issues of concern and to ascertain clear directionRequired ExperienceExperience from a similar support or development role in supporting business critical systems in a medium/large organisationMaximoEnergy or Utilities industry experience preferredDemonstrates a comprehensive breadth and depth of knowledge and experienceClear understanding of the gas and electricity industry dataflows, metering standards and regulationsExcellent analysis and knowledge transfer skills to a proven professional levelAble to take ownership of problems and requests as well as the ability to work in a pressurised environmentExcellent time management skills; able to effectively plans own and others' timeAble to visualise and articulate proposed solutions to business problems provided by design team to business areasA proactive approach with the ability to prioritise own workload within demanding schedulesStrong written and verbal skillsGood facilitation skills; enables people to reach agreement and develop work practicesA systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solvingForms judgements based on logical conclusions that have been drawn from available factsPlease submit CVs!
