Senior QA Test Automation Engineer London to £70k

Senior QA Test Automation Engineer / Technical Lead (Python UNIX) *Remote Interview WFH*. Do you have expertise with testing high performance, high availability production systems? You could be progressing your career in a leadership position whilst remaining hands-on with technology at a small, highly profitable Equities trading FinTech whose trading platform is used by investment management clients across Europe.

As a Senior QA Test Automation you will bring all testing in-house and provide technical leadership to a small team. You'll have overall responsibility for the quality and stability of the software releases on the Equity trading platform, ensuring software is shipped on time and with maximum quality. You'll gain an indepth understanding of business requirements and technical specifications enabling you to manage the production of test plans and implementation of automated test cases and tools.

The company is currently able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process as well as work from home for the foreseeable with the expectation that you will join colleagues in the London city office in the coming months with continued flexibility to work from home 2 days a week going forward.

Requirements:

Strong experience of testing high performance, high availability production systems

Knowledge of trading / financial systems

Ability to script with Python, ideally you'll have some knowledge of Jython

Experience with test automation using command-line tools on Unix platforms

Collaborative and pragmatic, able to provide technical leadership and planning / estimates
