Duration: 6 month initial contract + extensions

Location: Remote working (Need to be based in the EU)

Rate: Competitive and negotiable depending on experience

Day rate contract opportunity for a Life Actuary with IFRS 17 Methodology experience. Join a leading insurance business on a long term project.

The role is a day rate contract working remotely from home. Openness to travel in the future is desirable but not mandatory.

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified or Experienced Part-Qualified Actuary who has worked on an IFRS 17 project within a Life Insurance environment. Good knowledge of the IFRS17 standard and previous experience writing methodology papers is highly desirable

Role; Helping to write the IFRS 17 Methodology papers and business requirements in the initial phase of the contract, moving into other areas of IFRS 17 as the project progresses beyond the initial term.

You will join an experienced team of contractors and permanent employees within a well established and reputable client.

Required experience:

* Qualified or Experienced Life Actuary

* Good knowledge of the IFRS 17 standard

* Previous experience writing IFRS 17 methodology papers is highly desirable

* Practical experience within an IFRS 17 project is highly desirable

* Strong technical skills

* Strong communication skills and able to work to project deadlines

This role requires fluent English language skills and you must be based in the EU, with UK, Irish or EU market experience.
