JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title:Scrum MasterInside IR35
Location:London Paddington Department/Practice:Computer Consultancy Job Purpose and primary objectives: This is a Scrum master role for one of the product teams within Customer Growth program in customer and loyalty portfolio in M&S Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team): - Lead the Agile team based on the concept of Servant Leadership - Ensure all the agreed events are performed throughout the delivery cycle - Coordinate and facilitate iteration/release planning meetings, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives and demos - Assist the Agile teams by removing impediments to meet the committed objectives - Foster and coach the team for adoption of Agile tools and practices - Establish and track productivity and efficiency metrics for the product team - Work collaboratively with infrastructure, security and other partners - Participate in Quarterly/PI Planning sessions and Scrum of Scrum Meetings - Assessing the Agile Maturity of the team and organization and mentor the team to higher levels of maturity - Establish a Safe and trusting environment for the team to be productive - Proactively plan and identify and resolve any potential issues which may impact the schedule for the Agile team - Coordinate and facilitate Product planning, story mapping, iteration/release planning meetings, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives and demos - Establish track and publish all the required metrics on time - Collaborate with Infra, RTEs and other partners for enabling seamless integration - Mentor the team as required to ensure Agile principles are adhered - Engage with Product Owner for refinement of the user stories and maintaining the Product Backlog - Allocate Agile team resources and co-ordinate their work in resolving change induced incidents* - Work closely with Service Managers in maintaining the production stability* - Works closely with Service Owner in updating business stakeholders regarding the status of the incidents affecting production stability*
  Key Skills/Knowledge: Essential - Strong experience in Agile/DevOps* delivery - Must have domain knowledge in retail/supply chain/digital - Previous experience in SM role  and proven experience in facilitating Agile teams - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Good general understanding of application development, infrastructure & technology, together with process and data experience - Strong negotiation skills - Excellent people and team management skills - Must have tools knowledge including but not limited to - MS-Excel, Jira, Agile Craft - Proven ability to work under own initiative Desirable - Ability to work under pressure, handle complex change and prioritise key activities - Good Analytical and decision making skills - Scrum master certification Experience required: ? Minimal 3-5 years of scrum master experience Duration of the Assignment:3-6 months
