JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title:Senior Engineer Reporting to:Delivery Manager Location:Stockley Park , London Type- Inside IR35 Job Purpose and primary objectives: Experience in developing front end architecture application / Portal to be used by Supplier & Head office from UX perspective. ? Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript ? Hands-on experience in user research, usability testing methods and approaches ? Conducting workshop, converting user interest into wireframes, creating user personas, information architecture. ? Prototyping user testing, Participate in A-B testing & support engineering team onshore / offshore. ? knowledge of Design thinking principles and attributes, user interface design principles, user centred design processes, interaction design ? Experience in best digital tools (like - Balsamiq, Axure, Sketch, Visual Design & Multimedia-Adobe CS) Adaptability, communication, Problem Solving & experience in service Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team): ? Able to contribute to projects within the API team, and the critical path of development. ? Collaborate with the rest of the technology, product and design team to deliver features that add value. ? Work to define development standards and ensure they are upheld. Contribute to continual improvement of standards and development practices ? Support the teams QA responsibility, through PR review’s, automated and manual testing ? Deployment, manage roll back procedures and oversee deployment ? Pair and work collaboratively with others ? Provide technical guidance & mentoring to product teams during Sprint Development. - Supervisory / Managerial responsibilities (please specify if the position will have persons reporting to it): Derive outcome with a team of 3 to 4 members Key Skills/Knowledge: ? Experience in best digital tools (like - Balsamiq, Axure, Sketch, Visual Design & Multimedia-Adobe CS) ? Written tests in TDD/BDD fashion with unit test (JUnit), Integration test, Acceptance test and Contract testing. ? Desirable ? Hands-on experience in Application Development using latest technologies such as… JEE, Java 8+, Microservices, Springboot framework. ? A proven track record in building Apis with REST/SOAP. ? Practical experience of best coding/design practices and patterns, optimizations, scaling and clustering? ? and deployment in any Cloud platforms using CI / CD tools such as Concourse/Jenkins. ? Overall 10+ yearsof experience in Web Application Development Experience required:10+ years of hands on development experience Duration of the Assignment:6 monthsSpecial working conditions (travel, on call etc):Remote working in UK is fine
