Java Developer / Backend Software Engineer London to £90k

Java Developer / Backend Software Engineer (Risk Pricing). Are you a bright, ambitious Java Developer with Risk systems experience seeking a role where you can work on complex and interesting systems, see the results of your work quickly and reap the rewards with significant bonuses?

As a Java Developer you will design and develop core components with a focus on projects related to intraday and end of day pricing of OTC instruments, Risk analysis and P&L calculation as well as complex and indepth troubleshooting and debugging work on these critical middle office systems.

Requirements:

Degree educated, having achieved a 2.1 or above in Computer Science / Mathematics or closely related discipline

Commercial core Java development experience

Strong analysis and problem solving abilities including debugging

Experience in a similar trading / finance environment, working on middle office / Risk calculation systems - good business acumen, keen to learn more about trading and business operations

Ideally you will have some Python programming experience

Collaborative with good communication skills
