Business Analyst (Telco, Fixed Line Technology, IMS Network)

London (remote-based initially)

At Experis, we are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst from a Telco background to join our leading Television and Media client in London.

This is a contract role running for an initial 6 months.

The Role:

This role is part of the mediation team responsible for extracting and transforming data into a digestible format into the client's billing systems.

Candidate Specification:

We require a strong Business Analyst who is has strong inter-personal and stakeholder management skills, and excellent attention to detail in preparing design specifications.

Key requirements:Knowledge of UK mobile and fixed line technology (most desirably of the 3GPP standards for offline charging).Knowledge of IMS System in particular the IMS network elements of ATS, IBCF, SMSC, MMSC, PGW, OCSIdeally someone who has been working in Mediation System and understand the basic concept of Mediation Functions such as collection function, validation function, aggregation function, transformation function and distribution function.Proficient in requirement and design specifications with attention to detail in particular in audit trail.Confident in presenting the requirements or the designs to stakeholdersCompetent in data analysis using SQL and other tools such as Excel.Good writing skills are essential.
