C++ Developer / Backend Software Engineer *Remote UK* to £80k

C++ Developer / Backend Software Engineer (C++17 Linux). Technologist C++ Developer sought to design and develop new features and enhancements on a complex Cryptocurrency platform; collaborating remotely with colleagues across the globe.

As a C++ Developer you'll help to build and operate a block-chain enabled financial infrastructure with a focus on C++ backend development and scalability as a key factor. You'll be able to contribute to technical decisions, take ownership of components and shape the future of the Cryptocurrency platform.

Driven by technology this company can offer a fully remote interview and onboarding process as well as full time work from home from anywhere in the UK with the caveat that you'll need to be able to visit the London office for meet-ups (or could work there if desired) - there are four, fully paid for, company meetups per year in various locations around the world and $850 tech budget per year.

Requirements:

Advanced C++ development skills with the ability to performance optimise code

Experience with high performance, low latency systems and multi-threading

Ability to work fairly autonomously in conjunction with global colleagues

Other technologies of interest include: message queues (ZeroMQ, RabbitMQ), Job Queues, advanced cryptography and/or experience with public or permissioned Blockchains

Collaborative with good English communication skills

UK based and able to commute to London for meet-ups when required
