Job Purpose and primary objectives:

Java Developer for back-end services

Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):

? Draft & own design of Microservices / RESTful services

? Develop & unit test Microservices

? Ensure quality of Microservices

? Review Microservices with all tech lead and obtain sign off

? Set up / Configure environment for Microservices

? Participate in Daily Scrum Calls

? Monitor testing activities and provide support

? Improve performance of Microservices, as applicable

Key Skills/Knowledge:

? Strong RESTful service development experience using Spring MVC / Spring Boot

? Hands on experience with Java8

? Thorough understanding of Microservices architecture

? Hands on experience with Hibernate / JPA

? Strong experience in unit testing using jUnit / Groovy Script

? Thorough understanding of core java (OOPS) concepts and its usage

Experience required:

5+ Years in below skills:

? Microservices,

? RESTful services,

? Spring Framework (MVC / BOOT), 

? Java 8,

? jUnit / Groovy,

? Hibernate / JPA
