Windows Systems Engineer / Administrator (PowerShell Automation Microsoft) Exceptional opportunity has opened at a global quantitative trading firm for an ambitious technologist.

They are seeking a Windows Systems Engineer with a wealth of experience across the Microsoft Windows infrastructure to take ownership of key technical work including Active Directory, DNS and Windows desktop solutions.

As a Windows Systems Engineer you'll be responsible for proactively troubleshooting complex issues, championing innovative solutions and seeking improvements, enhancements and automation wherever possible.

You'll play a key role in a diverse, globally distributed team where you'll deliver a reliable, high-quality trading environment using a wide variety of platforms and programming languages.

Requirements:

You have strong experience using Microsoft Windows 10 and Servers 2012 R2/2016

Strong PowerShell skills

You have a good understanding of Active Directory/DHCP/DNS/Group Policy

You're naturally analytical and a keen problem solver

You're a confident, self-assured communicator who excels when working collaboratively

You're keen to develop your craft and share knowledge

You are degree educated, (2.1 or above from top tier university) in Computer Science / technical discipline

You have experience in a high frequency / low latency environment
