Junior C++ Developer London to £50k

Junior C++ Developer / Software Engineer (C++ UNIX). Would you like to progress your career working on complex multi-threaded C++ financial trading applications whilst continually learning?

You could be joining a small, highly profitable Equities trading FinTech that's trading platform is used by investment management clients across Europe.

As a Junior C++ Developer you will design and develop new features and enhancements to the core low latency trading platform with a focus on robustness and scalability. You'll gain exposure across the full development lifecycle to understand requirements and build solutions.

The company is currently able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process as well as work from home for the foreseeable with the expectation that you will join colleagues in the London city office in the coming months with continued flexibility to work from home 2 days a week going forward.

Requirements:

C++ development on high performance production systems, ideally including multi-threading

Familiar with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl, Shell)

Working knowledge of SQL

Collaborative and enthusiastic with good communication skills
