This world leading communications company is seeking Embedded Software Engineers - Network Development to be based at their R+D Centre in Darmstadt. The Embedded Software Engineers - Network Development will be responsible for developing CPE Gateway software that will be used around the world. As part of a team the Embedded Software Engineer - Network Development will be developing open-source Linux and OpenWrt based software in C and C++ both in kernel space and user space. You will have a background developing embedded software for communications systems. This should include a good knowledge of modern networking protocols. Your skills will also include embedded Linux, Linux driver and kernel development preferably gained developing networking software in C and C++. Any exposure to OpenWrt or working with the open source community would be a benefit.
