Reporting into the Function Head, the Project Administrator will ensure that projects meet quality standards and are completed both on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities of Project Administrator RoleCoordinate activities across a range of different workstreamsAccurate tracking and reporting and coordination of multiple project plans, including identifying resource requirements and project risks.Manage schedules and communicate progress to all team members, as well as managing smaller, standalone projects. Schedule regular meetings and record decisions and key meeting outputsPrepare and present reports on progress of all live projects to senior managers.Create and update work plans and schedulesIdentify required resourcesMonitor project progress and identify potential issues or risksManage and maintain filing system databasesPrepare and provide documentation to internal teams and key stakeholdersRetrieve necessary information that may be required by the project teamCoordinate quality controls to ensure deliverables meet requirementsMeasure and report on project performanceLiaise with internal and external contacts to maintain smooth flow of information Skills, Experience & Competencies Required for Project Administrator Role:Educated to degree level or strong, relevant experiencePMP / PRINCE2 certification or other project management training is a plusExperience as a Project Administrator or similar roleHands-on experience with schedules, flow charts, action registersKnowledge of Microsoft Project and task/resource management toolsCompetence with Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.)Project Administration experience within industrial manufacturing, engineering, chemicals, renewables, or environmental sectorsExcellent planning & organisational skills with ability to work to tight deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication & presentation skillsFlexible and responsive to changing priorities or circumstancesProactive and uses initiativeGood interpersonal skillsGood at building and maintaining relationships For the successful Project Administrator, a salary up to £45k + Benefits is on offer and this Project Administrator role, though based near the City of London is close to Liverpool Street Station, Waterloo Station, London Euston Station, Victoria Station and accessible from South London, West London, East London, and North London, as well as Slough, Leatherhead, Crawley, Dartford, Romford, Maidstone, Stevenage, Watford, Hatfield, St Albans, and Maidenhead.
