Technology Graduate Development Programme
Starting salary of £36,159 rising to £39,091 after 1 year - with £5,000 dedicated to development.
"I protect lives, not money." At MI5, technology plays a big part in helping to keep the country safe. We work against cyber-attacks, terrorism and espionage. Graduates who join our Technology Graduate Development Programme (TGDP) are key to our mission. Join us, and you'll work on unique projects and with teams and technology you won't find anywhere else. The TGDP programme Over two years, you'll gain a wide range of unique skills, knowledge and experience. It all starts off by getting to know other graduates. It's a great way of building friendships and building your own confidence - all skills that'll come in handy. Once you've settled in, you'll start the full programme. You can look forward to working collaboratively with different people on a variety of projects. Of course, you'll enjoy plenty of on-the-job learning. We'll also give you individual training, designed to meet your specific development needs. And, what's more, we'll support you all the way. That could include funding for relevant courses or professional qualifications to further your career. All so you can build a variety of skills on real-life projects that help protect the country. What we're looking for You can choose to join either our Business or Specialist stream. The Business stream covers roles in Information Architecture, and you'll need a genuine interest in technology, along with a degree in any subject. And the Specialist stream offers roles such as Covert Technical Operations Specialist. If you're expecting a STEM-related degree, that's exactly what we're after. But it's not just about your technical knowledge. As a good communicator, you'll know how to get on with different people. We're also looking for your ability to analyse problems and try new approaches. Add an honest attitude and good judgement and we'll teach you the rest. What we offer Great training, supportive colleagues and a range of real-life projects are just the start. You'll also enjoy an excellent salary, great benefits and an amazing work-life balance. So, join a programme with a difference. MI5 is an Equal Opportunities employer, committed to reflecting the society we protect. Our recruitment process is fair, transparent and based on merit. We particularly welcome applications from women, Black, Asian and minority ethnic candidates, candidates with a disability and LGBT+ candidates. To find out more and apply, please visit our website.
