Infrastructure Engineer Wimbledon to £100k

Infrastructure Engineer (Networking Cisco CCIE AWS) *Remote Interview WfH*. Are you a technologist Infrastructure Engineer with an indepth knowledge of networking technologies?

You could be managing a global network for a hugely profitable trading firm in a senior position whilst remaining hands-on with technology, continually learning and earning significant bonuses.

As the Infrastructure Engineer you will manage and deliver operational support for a globally distributed network of offices that operates 24/7 across four continents. You'll collaborate with Network Engineers to design, maintain and implement on-premise and cloud (AWS) networks to support BAU activities for low latency trading environments; perform network configurations, upgrades and hardware replacements and liaise with third parties and internal software engineering teams on Information Security, Auditing and Risk.

Your role will be a mix of project based worked and support of BAU activities; an initial project will be to migrate to Prisma. You'll provide technical direction and leadership but won't have direct reports.

Driven by technology the company is offering remote interview and onboarding process with a gradual return to the office planned for around Spring 2021, then going forward you'll be based in Wimbledon in modern offices with a range of facilities and a friendly team atmosphere with casual dress code and flexible working hours.

Requirements:

You have expertise with Infrastructure and / or Network Engineering Design

You have a CCIE certification or equivalent understanding and troubleshooting experience of network layers, routing (BGP, OSPF), IP protocols and application behaviours

You're experienced with developing cloud network architecture and defining end-to-end Network as Code deployments

You have automation experience with PowerShell plus one of the following Python, Terraform

You have experience with a broad range of technologies and vendors including at least some of the following: AWS, Palo Alto, Prisma, Cisco, Load Balancers: Riverbeds, HA Proxy, Monitoring, Windows, Linux

You are a confident and pragmatic communicator, comfortable collaborating with global colleagues and stakeholders
